Elite Fleet Automotive is proud to help the Bend community support active-duty military members and veterans as an official Cell Phones for Soldiers drop-off location. If you have an old cell phone, smartphone, tablet or other accepted mobile device you no longer use, bring it to our Bend shop during normal business hours and we'll help put it toward a worthwhile cause.

Donated devices help Cell Phones for Soldiers provide communication services and emergency assistance to military members and veterans while also keeping millions of electronic devices out of landfills. Devices may be refurbished for use by veterans or responsibly recycled to help fund the organization's programs.

Cell Phones for Soldiers is a national nonprofit organization founded in 2004 by siblings Rob and Brittany Bergquist, who were just 12 and 13 years old when they began their effort to help military members stay connected with their families. What started as a small act of kindness grew into a nationwide organization supporting active-duty service members, veterans and their families.

Through its programs, Cell Phones for Soldiers helps provide communication resources and financial assistance to members of the military community. Its Minutes That Matter program has provided hundreds of millions of minutes of free talk time, while Helping Heroes Home provides emergency financial assistance to veterans facing urgent needs.

Cell Phones for Soldiers accepts cell phones, smartphones and tablets in a wide range of ages and conditions. Donated devices can be refurbished or responsibly recycled, allowing their value to help fund programs for military members and veterans while reducing electronic waste.

Since its founding, the organization has responsibly recycled more than 25 million mobile devices and provided more than 450 million minutes of talk time to deployed service members. Today, its programs also help provide eligible veterans with phones and wireless service so they can stay connected to family, healthcare providers, employment opportunities and other essential resources.

We welcome members of the Bend and Central Oregon community who would like to donate an eligible device and help support those who have served our country.
